finally! after six months of traunsee abstinence, we managed to drive to traunsee, to the most beautifull drop off in the Salzkammergut. after some call off, Bernard and I were just left, which is not necessarily bad. on the day before, I had already partly loaded the new transporter, and thus we went on Saturday morning, after a short load finishing. with the sun behind us going to traunsee direction.

arrived in traunkirchen, after a short tour at the divesite, we headed immediately to the assembling of the equipment to arrive as quickly as possible into the water. the visibility, the last dives we did here, was less than 2 meters, but today, read from out of the water, looks much better. So we went into the water, after some checks and we went down. at over 30 meters deep, I laid back down and then it happened: I could not breathe ... presence of mind I realized, that was not a problem of the equipment. This was due to see the breathtaking view. even this depth we could see the reflections of the sun on the waves and even the feet of ducks, which were swimming above. the wall looks very beautyfull as always in its yellow style overgrown with numerous shells and sponges. huge schools of juvenile fish, as expected at this time, we could also see there, but they escape as they heared us. unforunately we had no rebreathers this day. in the shallower area, we received a bit of the sun on our bottles, just enjoying the beautiful underwater scenery. out of the water, we rised the new stairs up back to the car, where we stowed everything and we quickly start the trip home. we did a brief stopover at gerhard, who have beer threatening to run off at home, we got a mouse in the hamster garment to face. a few videos and cave profiles also be regarded as a bonus, of course via video wall.

all in all a great successful trip to the Salzkammergut / Hausruckviertel.
